Isabell Weipert
Head of Secondary School

Isabell Weipert studied German and English to become a teacher. Upon graduation she took on a teaching position at a Language Immersion School in North Carolina/USA. In 2012 she joined Phorms Education as the founding Head of Primary School at Josef-Schwarz-Schule. From 2017 to middle of 2019 Isabell Weipert worked as Head of Human Resources for Phorms in Baden-Württemberg and took over the management of our Secondary School starting in school year 2019/2020.

 

Naomi Janssen
Coordinator of Arts and Music

Naomi Janssen studied Music at Huddersfield University, UK before completing her teaching qualifications at Durham University in 2003. She completed her Masters of Education with a focus on Bilingual education at the University of Bath in 2014. Naomi Janssen worked as Head of Music at a secondary school in County Durham before leaving the UK in 2009, working at an International Primary school in Dubai, and then joining the Phorms family as a Music teacher at Campus München in 2010.  Naomi joined the Josef-Schwarz-Schule in 2017, and since September 2019 has been part of the Secondary Leadership Team, being responsible for Bilingual Learning and the Arts subjects. Outside of school, Naomi Janssen is a Mum, cook, and keen gardener.

Mirjam Eckert
Coordinator MINT subjects

Mirjam Eckert studied English, biology and mathematics at the Ludwigsburg University of Education. From September 2010 to July 2012 she taught as a class teacher at an independently managed comprehensive school in Künzelsau. From September 2012 she worked at a state-run comprehensive school. As part of the school leadership team, she actively participated in processes of school and teaching development. Since September 2019 she has been an enrichment to the team of the Josef-Schwarz-Schule, where she is responsible for the coordination of MINT subjects within the leadership team.

Ruben Ebert
Deputy Head of Secondary School

From September 2019 Ruben Ebert has been the Deputy Head of Secondary School at Josef-Schwarz-Schule. In addition he is responsible for the conceptual and content development of our upper secondary school.
Prior to this, Ruben Ebert was Head of a bilingual grammar school in Stuttgart-Fellbach for five years and, as part of this activity, introduced a programme that combined the international Abitur with the International Baccalaureate. In addition, he taught German and history at private and public schools for many years and was a lecturer at the Institute for Literary Studies at the University of Stuttgart.

Lisa Steinmann
Coordinator German and Humanities

Lisa Steinmann studied high school teaching at the University of Stuttgart for the subjects German and Philosophy/Ethics and completed her traineeship at a public high school in Heilbronn by summer 2017. From September 2017 to July 2019, she taught both as a German teacher at the Josef-Schwarz-Schule and as a teacher of ethics and philosophy in the upper school of a vocational high school in Öhringen, taking written and oral Abitur examinations in the process. Since September 2019, Lisa Steinmann has been working as a teacher of German and ethics at the Josef-Schwarz-Schule. As a member of the leadership team, she is also responsible for coordinating the German departments and all humanities subjects.

Delphine Sack
Coordinator Foreign Languages

Delphine Sack is a trained teacher for English and French. She completed her secondary school teaching studies at the Sorbonne University in Paris in 2000. She worked on her master thesis in Political Sciences in the US and London and started her career as a high school language teacher in 2001. She worked for many years at various public and private bilingual schools in France, China, Hungary and Germany. In September 2017 she joined the Josef-Schwarz-Schule. Since the school year 2019/20, she has been a member of the leadership team and is responsible for the Foreign Languages Department. Besides her work at the school, she writes books for young people, maintains her language skills and manages her family.

Julian Nehr
Head of After School Program

Julian Nehr studied social pedagogy at the DHBW Stuttgart and worked there for the Centre for Intercultural Competence in the area of exchange programmes and public relations. In his professional career he worked in psychiatry, in the general social service of the youth welfare office and in an inpatient residential group. He is also studying human resources management at the University of Applied Sciences, Technology, Business and Design in Wismar. Since December 2019, he has been head of the after school program for the clubs, holiday programs and cooperation with external partners at the Josef-Schwarz-School.
