Measuring performance

At Josef Schwarz School, we are aiming to establish target-based learning with a clear standard of performance.

In every school year, student performance is therefore reviewed on specific days, e.g. by way of exams ("Kompetenzprüfungen"), workshops or presentations. The teachers for the individual subjects announce one or more dates for these assessments.

After every half year, students receive a school report ("Lernstandentwicklungsbericht") and feedback on their progress, based on the four values of carefulness, independence, openness and optimism.
